Anna Walz holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Communications from Seton Hall University (1991). She was the Founder and former CEO of MedEvoke, using her skills regarding business strategy, innovation, and operations to grow the company. In addition, she is an active member of the Board of Directors for Healios AG, a Swiss-based med-tech company. Additionally, she was the Co-Founder of The Medical Voice Network, which seeks to establish a community of cross-functional experts from pharm and biotech to disrupt traditional silos in the Oncology and Drug Development space.
As a member of the Board of Directors, Walz brings with her over 25 years of medical affairs and global medical consulting experience and a proven track record in entrepreneurial innovation and leadership. Her expertise will support Radyus’s growth with a holistic, linear approach, connecting early stages of preclinical pharmaceutical drug development with patient delivery and medical affairs.As Founder and CEO of MedEvoke, a member on the Board of Directors, Chairman of the Board, and Strategic Planning Committee at Hunterdon Healthcare, and Senior Strategic Advisor at MEDISTRAVA, Walz has experience regarding business strategy and innovation. She is a long-standing Trustee at Hunterdon Healthcare, serving as Chair of the Community Needs Committee, and an active member on the Health System’s Strategic Planning Committee. Walz serves on The Medical Affairs Professional Society’s Board of Directors, and is Chair of the Finance Committee for the Ambassadors of Alliance.
Walz harnessed her skills as a visionary entrepreneur to actively seek and reveal niche markets in the pharma and biotech industries, leading her to build a successful Global Consulting company, MedEvoke. She continues to operate as a core part of their consulting group. Walz has a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Communications from Seton Hall University and is a graduate of the Tuck-WBENC Executive Education program and the Entrepreneurial Master’s Program (EMP), a collaboration between the Entrepreneur’s Organization and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Walz is a sought-after subject matter expert and frequent speaker on a myriad of topics, including medical strategy, launch excellence, impact metrics for medical affairs, female entrepreneurship, and diversity in the biosciences. Her goal is to develop earlier partnerships to increase efficiency, bringing cancer cures to patients in need.
